Slalom for a Sheepskin

Middlebury College's winter term graduates have a unique way of leaving campus. As part of a congratulatory weekend for these graduates, they stage a "ski-down" procession in cap and gown. This year's event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Middlebury College Snow Bowl in Hancock, Vt.

A School Full of Smart Athletes

Athletic teams at the College of the Holy Cross have posted one of the best graduation rates in the NCAA. Twenty teams have achieved a perfect 100 percent graduation rate. The lowest graduation rate for any Holy Cross team was 92 percent - still far above the NCAA Division I average of 77 percent for all sports.
